Two manuscripts, letter, and index card concerning Jón Oddsson Hjaltalín. Includes a biography of him, a bibliography of his works, his genealogy, and a bibliography of material about him. The first manuscript was transcribed by Sighvatur Gr. Borgfirðingur from his Prestaæfir, a manuscript in the National Library of Iceland. The second manuscript, transcribed by Halldór Hermannsson, has title: Æfiágrip séra Jóns Oddssonar Hjaltalíns, skrifað af honum sjálfum, og sent Hallgrími djákna Jónssyni, 1822 (The biography of the Rev. Jón Oddsson Hjaltalín, written by himself and sent to Deacon Hallgrímur Jónsson, 1822).
